Pro PR & Marketing:

Objective:  Mitigate negative coverage stemming from a Federal Trade Commission (FTC) inquiry and settlement regarding the marketing and sale of a biweekly automotive bill payment service.

Results: Provided counsel on how to manage media and consumer inquiries. Crafted an executive statement and customer service talking points. Responded to media requests  to ensure balanced coverage with the Associated Press, ABC News, Crain’s Business, and the Financial Times.


NATIONAL SOCIETY OF LEADERSHIP AND SUCCESS

Objective: Elevate, announce and promote individual speaker events for the Society’s 2014-2015 Broadcast Speaker Series. 

Results: Fifteen earned news stories, including a front page print feature and four online event photo galleries with the Jersey Journal, and 84 calendar listings. 


AMAI MEDICAL CENTER:

Objective: Prepare the AMAI Medical executive team for the public launch of its services and the opening of their Santa Monica office.

Results: Developed six-month strategic public relations and marketing communications plan, crafted the company’s corporate messaging, provided corporate branding counsel, and media trained the AMAI executive staff. 


The Moxie Institute:

Objective: Promote the release of two short films from the “Let it Ripple: Mobile Films for Global Change” series and the release of  “The Future Starts Here” AOL Original series.

Results: Brain World magazine cover story and feature coverage with Fast Company, GOOD magazine, BigThink.com, Bloomberg TV, CBS News "Tech Talk," TechCrunch TV, The Huffington Post, Business2Community.com, Wired.com, GenConnect.com, Marin Magazine, TechCocktail.com,  and the Jewish Journal.


02 FILMS:

Objective:  Promote the film festival dates and screenings for the independently produced “Le Petit Nuage.”

Results: Front page print feature story with The Maui News, online homepage feature with MauiNews.com, and features with BonjourParis.com and Montreal157. 


JONZ UNLTD.:

Objective: Secure positive news and reviews to promote the premiere of “Force 12,” an original stage play by Jo D. Jonz.

Results: Live on-air interview for Jo D. Jonz with “LA Talk Live” and feature coverage with LA Weekly Stage Raw Blog, LA Stage Times, Bitter-Lemons.com, TheaterMania.com, LA Theater Review, LA Daily News, BroadwayWorld.com, PerformingArtsLive.com, Venice.Patch.com.


GOOD CORPS:

Objective: Generate media and public interest in the digital social innovation What Works Project within the first 60 days of its launch.

Results: Feature posts on nine campaign partner blogs and coverage with the Albany Times-Union, Cincinnati Herald, Orange County Register, Business2Community.com, and Look Up Detroit.


X PRIZE FOUNDATION:

Objective: Encourage science and technology media to attend and cover the Foundation’s Incentive to Innovate conference hosted in partnership with BT Global. 

Results: Secured 24 on-site media briefings for X PRIZE Foundation Founder Peter Diamandis and 94 earned media stories highlighting conference participants including entrepreneur Dean Kamen, LinkedIn Founder Reid Hoffmann, author Keith Ferrazzi, and innovator Don Tapscott.


JOHN KOBAL FOUNDATION:

Objective: Support The Busby Group PR team in garnering positive reviews of the “Made in Hollywood: Portraits from the John Kobal Foundation Archives” exhibition at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art and accompanying book “Glamour of the Gods,” published by Steidl.

Results:Fan Fair” feature in Vanity Fair, 12-image photo gallery on Newsweek.com, and a feature story in the Los Angeles Times.


PHoton energy services:

Objective: Promote Photon Energy Services solar development projects in Southern California.

Results: Updated corporate website, strengthened relationships with industry partners and clients including the Diocese of San Jose and SolarTech, secured feature print and online news stories with more than 110 energy, solar, business, and environment industry media, including: Environmental Leader, San Jose Mercury News, Florida Investor, Silicon Valley News, National Catholic Reporter, Catholic News Service, Capital Thinking, California Energy Circuit, PVTech.com, Recharge News, Global Corporate Xpansion, and Energy Bloom.


CLEAN AGENCY:

Objective: Secure positive news stories that highlight CLEAN Agency’s expertise as a leading corporate sustainability consulting firm and its work with global consumer product companies.

Objective: Secure positive news stories that highlight AllThatBags.com as an affordable designer handbag rental services.

Results: Client interviews and earned media coverage with the Wall Street Journal, Elle Spain, Upscale, Urban Latino, Palm Beach Post, WEOL-AM, and FOX5 Las Vegas. 


LAST CHANGE FOR ANIMALS:

Objective: Promote Pet Theft and Puppy Mill Awareness Day events and activities in Los Angeles. 

Results: Developed relationships with key celebrity supporters including Poison band member Rikki Rockett and actresses Alexandra Paul and Linda Blair. Secured news stories with Los Angeles Times, LA Daily News, LA Weekly, St. Louis Post Dispatch, Arkansas Gazette and every major affiliate television station in Los Angeles.


Aids healthcare foundation: 

Objective: Promote the New York launch of “AfricAlive: Portraits of Success” traveling photography exhibition.

Results: Front page coverage with USA Today Magazine, feature coverage with Time Out New York, News-Times, New York Sun, and DailyCandy.com, and a feature photo spread and story with HIV Plus magazine.
